  • 4 cups frozen hashbrowns
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ¼ cup sliced green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a large baking dish with nonstick spray.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, hashbrowns, onion, cream of chicken soup, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Fold in half of the shredded cheese and pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish. Top with the remaining cheese.
  4. Bake for 45 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly. Let cool slightly before serving.
