Description

  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup colorful sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Grease or line a round baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy (about 3 minutes).
  3. Add eggs one at a time and mix in vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
  4. In another bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually incorporate dry ingredients into wet mixture while mixing gently.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips. Pour batter into the prepared pan and top with sprinkles.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean from the center.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before flipping onto a cooling rack.
