Hearty Beef-Stuffed Pasta Shells are a comforting family favorite, bursting with savory beef and creamy cheeses. This easy recipe is perfect for weeknight dinners or special gatherings.

  • 12 large pasta shells
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, sauté chopped onion until translucent. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
  3. Stir in ground beef; cook until browned. Drain excess fat and season with salt and pepper.
  4. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper with the beef mixture.
  5. Stuff each cooked pasta shell generously with filling.
  6. Spread marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish. Arrange stuffed shells in the dish and top with remaining sauce, mozzarella, and Parmesan.
  7. Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
