  • ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 ½ cups granulated sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Baking soda and baking powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix melted butter and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in sour cream and vanilla extract.

  5. Divide batter between prepared pans and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
