Instructions

- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt together. Gradually add to the butter mixture, alternating with milk; start and end with flour.
- Divide batter among prepared pans and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in pans for 10 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
- Frost between layers and on top with your choice of frosting.
