Instructions

  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt together. Gradually add to the butter mixture, alternating with milk; start and end with flour.
  5. Divide batter among prepared pans and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Cool in pans for 10 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
  7. Frost between layers and on top with your choice of frosting.
