Description

Apple Fritter Bites are delightful, bite-sized treats bursting with warm apple goodness and a hint of cinnamon. Perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, these sweet morsels are ideal for snacking, dessert, or serving at family gatherings. With a simple recipe that even novice bakers can master, you’ll have everyone asking for seconds. Enjoy them warm dusted with powdered sugar or drizzled with icing for an extra touch of sweetness.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup Granny Smith apples, peeled and chopped
  • Vegetable oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt until well mixed.
  2. In another bowl, beat milk and eggs until frothy. Combine the wet ingredients with the dry mixture and stir gently until just combined.
  3. Fold in chopped apples carefully to distribute evenly.
  4. Heat about two inches of vegetable oil in a deep skillet over medium heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
  5. Drop spoonfuls of batter into the hot oil without overcrowding the pan. Fry each side for about 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Transfer fried fritters to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil and allow them to cool slightly before serving.

Keywords: For added flavor, consider mixing in nuts or raisins. Swap out Granny Smith apples for your favorite variety or add pears for a different taste. For a twist on presentation, drizzle fritters with caramel or maple syrup instead of powdered sugar.
