  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  1. In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute). Add shrimp and cook until pink and opaque (about 3 minutes).
  3. Stir in red pepper flakes while tossing shrimp in the buttery sauce.
  4. Drain pasta and add it to the skillet with shrimp. Pour in lemon juice and toss well. Adjust creaminess with reserved pasta water as needed.
  5. Plate the pasta and sprinkle with chopped parsley.
