  • 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lb)
  • 1/2 cup basil pesto
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cans crescent roll dough (8 oz each)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper and cook in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked. Shred the chicken once cool.
  2. In a bowl, combine shredded chicken with pesto until well mixed.
  3. Unroll crescent dough into triangles. Spoon chicken-pesto mixture onto the wide end of each triangle and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
  4. Roll tightly from the wide end to the tip of each triangle and place on a greased baking sheet.
  5. Brush tops lightly with olive oil and sprinkle garlic powder before baking for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
