  • 2 ripe mangoes, sliced

Instructions

  1. Rinse glutinous rice under cold water until clear, then soak overnight in water.
  2. Drain soaked rice and steam in a lined steamer for 25-30 minutes until tender and translucent.
  3. While the rice steams, combine coconut milk, sugar, and salt in a saucepan over low heat until sugar dissolves (do not boil).
  4. Once cooked, transfer hot rice to a bowl and mix with two-thirds of the coconut sauce. Let sit for 15 minutes.
  5. Slice fresh mangoes into wedges or cubes.
  6. Serve by molding sticky rice onto plates, drizzling with remaining coconut sauce, and topping with sliced mangoes.
