- 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 pound)
- 12 oz farfalle pasta
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 cups low-sodium chicken broth
- 2 tbsp butter
- Chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Heat butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add diced chicken seasoned with salt and pepper; cook until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Pour in chicken broth and scrape any browned bits from the bottom of the pot.
- Bring broth to a gentle boil, then add farfalle pasta. Cook while stirring occasionally for 10-12 minutes or until al dente.
- Reduce heat and stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy. Season with salt and pepper as needed.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving hot.
