Instructions

  1. Wash and pit the cherries, then blend them with 1/2 cup water until smooth. Strain to make cherry puree.
  2. Squeeze lemons to yield about 1 cup of lemon juice.
  3. In a large pitcher, combine cherry puree, lemon juice, and sugar. Stir until sugar dissolves.
  4. Add 4 cups of cold water and plenty of ice. Mix well and adjust sweetness with more sugar or lemon juice if desired.
