Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with festive liners.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, cocoa powder, sugar, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix vegetable oil, buttermilk, eggs, red food coloring, and vanilla until well combined.
  4. Gradually add wet ingredients to dry ingredients, mixing gently until just combined.
  5. Fill each liner two-thirds full with batter and bake for 20-22 minutes.
