- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 medium English cucumber, grated
- 1 clove fresh garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped (or 1 tbsp dried dill)
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
- In a bowl, mix Greek yogurt, grated cucumber (squeeze out excess moisture), minced garlic, dill, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper until smooth to create the tzatziki sauce.
- Let the cooked chicken rest before slicing into bite-sized pieces. Toss with the tzatziki sauce in a large mixing bowl.
- Serve chilled or at room temperature on a bed of greens or pita bread.
