  • 1/2 cup fresh chives, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 20 dumpling wrappers
  • 2 tbsp cooking oil (for frying)
  • 1/4 cup water (for steaming)
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp chili oil (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine ground pork, chopped chives, minced garlic, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Mix gently until combined.
  2. Place about one tablespoon of filling in the center of each dumpling wrapper. Moisten edges with water and fold to seal.
  3. Heat cooking oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Arrange pot stickers in the skillet without overcrowding.
  4. Cook until the bottoms are golden brown (about 3-4 minutes). Add water, cover, and steam for 5-7 minutes until water evaporates.
  5. Remove lid and cook for an additional minute until bottoms are crispy again. Serve hot with rice vinegar mixed with chili oil.
